Clark Conner

Clark was born in Spearman, Texas. His family then moved to Wilburton, Oklahoma when he was three months old. He started playing the drums at age thirteen and then picked up a guitar at seventeen. Clark has been in numerous bands playing several different instruments throughout his years.

His musical influences widely range anything from Metal to Motzart.

His biggest influence is Mark Tremonti, Alter Bridge/Tremonti/Creed guitarist.

Clark taught himself to play guitar by playing by ear along to CD’s. He also hold deep respect for great musicians such Steve Vai, Jeff Buckley, Slash, and many other musicians through out the history of music. After two years of music theory, he learned all the “rules” on why music is pleasing to the ear and how to write according to the rules of theory. Although, knowing the “rules”, he doesn’t always follow them to give greater tonal variety, color, and feeling in his music. As mentioned earlier, Clark plays many instruments including Guitar, Drums, Bass, Piano, Mandolin, Harmonica, Banjo and many more. He has utilized these skills in many genres of music. He has performed and worked in Rock, Metal, Punk, Ska, Pop, Classical, Hip-Hip, Country, Red Dirt, Indie, Folk, and Southern Gospel. One of Clark’s biggest musical endeavor was an original rock group he formed called

The band was very successful and had quite a few “Most Requested” hits on numerous radio stations including 103.7 KESC, Rock 105.1, 94.7 THE BUZZ, 104.5 The Edge, 97.5 The KATT, Q102.3 and many others. Oversoul had the great experience of performing with many major label artists such as Hinder, The Exies, Smile Empty Soul, Dario Lorina, The Bullet Boys, Bang Tango, Faster Pussycat, Texas Hippie Coalition, Violence to Vegas, Midnight to Twelve, Faction, and Crossfade. The band has disbanded but as the sole writer for the group the songs have traveled along with Clark. Although life has thrown many curves in his direction, Clark finds his way through difficult situations by expressing his thoughts and feelings in his music and lyrics. He finds inspiration in the things closest to him such as family, friends, and life experiences. Clark hopes to make a way for people to come to grips with the problems that everyone must face using inspiring words put to a great melody.

 Jason Simpson

Jason Simpson was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and grew up in the Perkins / Stillwater area. While the musical part of his family was centered around guitar he found his calling playing drums. He began by beating on pots and pans in the kitchen until his parents bought him his first kit. From then on he played along with local radio and cd’s and joined his first band when he was 16 years old. He then relocated to McAlester, Oklahoma where he met Clark Conner and Josh Clanahan and was welcomed into their former band, Oversoul. After a run with the band he left Oversoul for personal reasons but continued to keep in touch with Clark.

After a brief hiatus and some collaboration with Clark Conner they then formed the band A Beautiful End.

His musical influences include: Breaking Benjamin, The Nixons, The Smashing Pumpkins and pretty much all things revolving around 90’s Rock.

No matter what style of drumming you like he is sure to appeal the eardrums of his fans and leave you craving for more!

Ryan D. Needham was born in Clarksville Arkansas and lived in Pocola Oklahoma for most of his life, he started playing guitar at the age of 15 and got his start at a small church band. His love for 80’s Rock such as Guns ‘N’ Roses and Metallica was his beginning inspiration to start in rock n roll music. His very first album I ever bought was a cd by Rock Icon, Black Sabbath.
